PERAN PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI DALAM PENGAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract

It is inevitable and unavoidable with the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education and teaching, especially in the Indonesian language teaching at the College of the current positive and negative impacts. Various positive and negative impacts that arise when the teaching process eluding and our view of the nature of a teaching. The role of language as a communication tool used by humans both in oral and written communication has a direct impact on the development of the information and communication technology. One of the developments that emerged in the Indonesian language teaching today is the teaching method using e-learning methods and the use of language learning videos. This is what underlies that research into the development of information and communication technology in language teaching in higher education is essential to be explored in more depth. This research is a library that is descriptive with the aim of exposing the role of the development of information and communication technology, the demands of the current era, especially in the Indonesian language teaching, the impact of technological developments to teaching, especially Indonesian in Universities and the future challenges to be faced College particularly in language teaching by utilizing the development of information and communication technology. Based on that analysis can be concluded that the development of information and communication technologies in language teaching time reduces direct contact between faculty and students that influence the psychological side. On the other hand these developments have a positive impact on student memudahan in catching teaching materials, especially in the Indonesian language with visual aids, such as using video media in language learning. Future challenge faced is the need to reform both students and lecturers themselves in mensikapi development of Information and Communication Technology in Indonesian language teaching more wisely and create an Indonesian teaching materials are more humane and friendly towards the development of technology.
