PENERAPAN METODE UTAUT UNTUK MEMAHAMI PENERIMAAN DAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI TRANSPORTASI ONLINE (STUDI KASUS : WILAYAH JABODETABEK)

Abstract

Smartphone usage in supporting business needs and daily activities of the general society, making the developers and makers of software to create user-friendly applications, so that anyone is able to easily download and use it. The presence of online transportation applications which can be easily installed on a Smartphone, like the Go-Jek, Grab and Uber, has become a phenomenon in the general people to be interesting for creating a research. The purpose of this research is to recognize what factors that will influence general people in accepting and the use of online transportation applications, especially in Jakarta Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek ). Here, it is conducted the research by analyzing of using a model of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT)  This model analyzes four constructs that influences it, those are: the performance of expectations, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating condition. While for the moderation, it is used is gender, age, voluntariness, and experience. For the method of data analysis, it uses quantitative descriptive technique of non-probability sampling. It is sampling judgment and SPSS 17. Based on the results of test which is done, it is known what factors that will influence the acceptance and use of online transportation especially in the region of Jabodetabek. The result of this research, it is expected to provide feedback to the manager of online transportation applications, so it is able to make improvements in developing the online transport applications in the future.
